College Composition Unit 4 Blog Post

Plagarism throughout the course of writing and producing solid writing is a major deal and is not taken lightly. It is extremely important if you are using another person's work to cite and give credit to that person whether it be bits and pieces of information or a quote in which you read from that person's work. Either way credit must be given to the original author in order to safeguard yourself against possible litigation for plagarism. Learning how to and knowing how to give proper credentials is important so that it comes easily and you continue to do so.

  1. You know, Kayla, some people can even get very sticky about plagiarism if you forget to put your quoqtes around a direct quote. One of the best things to do for insurance is to run your draft by the Writing Center. I am sure they will let you know if they see errors. Good luck!
